HABITIQ ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. By using HABITIQ you agree to the practices described here.

• A. Account data — name and email address provided at sign-up.
• B. Health & habit data — recovery scores, sleep scores, and habit entries you log manually or import from a connected device.
• C. Device data — from WHOOP or Oura when you authorise a connection: recovery score, strain, HRV, RHR, and sleep metrics.
• D. Usage data — anonymous analytics to improve the product. No personally identifiable usage data is sold.
• E. Technical data — device type, OS version, and crash logs for debugging purposes.

• A. To provide and personalise the HABITIQ service.
• B. To calculate correlations between your habits and recovery.
• C. To send notification reminders you have explicitly enabled.
• D. To improve the application based on aggregate, anonymised usage.

We are a correlation engine, not a data broker. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

All data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted in secure data centres with encryption at rest and in transit. Access is restricted to your authenticated account. We retain your data for as long as your account is active, or as required by law.

• A. Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, analytics.
• B. WHOOP Developer API — biometric data sync when you connect your device. Subject to WHOOP's own Privacy Policy.
• C. Oura API (coming soon) — readiness data sync. Subject to Oura's own Privacy Policy.

You maintain full control over your data. You may at any time:

• A. Access all data we hold about you.
• B. Export your full correlation history via Dossier (Profile) → Privacy & Security → Exfiltration_protocol.
• C. Request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• D. Disconnect any wearable integration from Profile → External Uplinks.

HABITIQ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
